Greetings from Guadalajara! I'm down here taking a 4 week Spanish immersion course before heading to my work assignment with Schlumberger Oil Field Services in Reynosa. Life is good as you can see from the many photos :) The city is storied and historic, full of wonder and legend. Fiestas and mariachi bands abound; salsa and tortillas flow like milk and honey. My host family has been very warm and hospitable--I live with a mom and her three daughters (26, 24, 22) who have all graduated from college and now work in Guadalajara. Staying in Mexico lends a new appreciation, though, for the beauty of the Hudson Valley, the delights of the Bentley Farm kitchen, and the love of my dear family. Hasta luego mis amigos!
