Winter Skiing

This Sunday Jacob and I went with our Christian Service Brigade group to Windham Mountain for a fun filled evening of skiing down the snowy slopes. Our whole group had a great time and we came home happy and tired from a great outing.

Brr....

This morning we reached our coldest day of the year and to prove it the thermometer read -17 degrees in the early morning. Bentley after much exercise decided to take a nap and he needed an extra coat to get warm!

Jiminy Peak

Last Saturday Nathaniel treated Rebecca, Jacob, our friend Andy, and myself to a amazing night of skiing at Jiminy Peak. We had a great time: Rebecca and I learned to ski proficiently and all of us enjoyed flying down the mountain side.

Snow Has Fallen, Snow on Snow

We all woke up this morning to a white blanket of snow that covered the ground as far as the eye could see. Bentley Farm always looks beautiful to me but with snow on everything it looks even more gorgeous.

Hauling Wood

Jacob and Rebecca helped the family out by hauling loads of firewood for our wood stove that heats the house faithfully year after year.

Nothin' Spells Lovin' Like Somthin' From the Oven

Mom baked us all a special winter treat.....ginderbread men!

Town Hall Sledding

On Sunday my friend invited me to go sledding with him at the Stanford Town Hall. The steep hill's snow was packed down which made the sledding conditions great. I especially enjoyed flying down the hill on a tobaggon with my friend and then both of us getting bucked off the sled and landing on our stomachs.

Winter Wonderland Wedding
