God Is...

So much more:
-wealthy than Carlos Slim Helu
-stronger than Mark Kirsch
-faster than Usain Bolt
-older than Besse Cooper
-smarter than Albert Einstein
-famous than Elvis Presley
-powerful than Barack Obama
-loving than Mother Teresa
-influential than Bill Gates
And yet He still cares for us, and still desires a relationship with us, sinful creatures though we are. The best of humanity has to offer does not even compare to the Glory of God. We are but a speck of dust compared to the Burj Du Bai. And yet that comparison does not even compare.
It is said that Teddy Roosevelt, during his presidency, would look up at the universe each night to remind him of how small he really was.

What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? -Psalm 8:4

The Grandparents Babysit

While Isaac and Allie adjourned for a Valentine's Day dinner at a local favorite restaurant, the newborn, Isabella, was left in the willing hands of the Angell grandparents. When asked by my father what she wanted to do for Valentine's Day my mother responded, "I just want to stay home with you and hold the baby." Isabella grows everyday, all the while seeming to stay in a glow of adorableness and innocence.

2012 Champs!

Last Saturday, Rebecca's basketball team, the Upton Lake Eagles, played their final tournament game, which they won, 31 to 22. Rebecca as always did her part, helping her team to victory. Most of the Angell family was there to cheer her on, and a a victory lunch took place with her at a nearby restaurant.

Isabella!

Early this morning we traveled to the birthing center to visit the beaming and exhausted parents, and their newborn baby. Needless to say she is incredibly adorable and amazingly cute. It was a great blessing to see the baby, yet not even a day old.
When those tiny fingers curl
So sweetly around your own,
You’ll feel some of the deepest joy
That you've ever known
Because it doesn’t take so long
To understand how much
Your whole life can be transformed
By a baby girl's touch
