When I Am Away...

The chicks and sheep play...

Late this morning I was coming home from the farm, where I had been for several hours weedwacking, and found that Rebecca's sheep had opened the chicks cage for them. The sheep had then proceeded to consume the chicks' grain, while the chicks themselves hopped out to explore.

Highlights for me:
-Spending several days at a Christian summer camp, with Adam, my brother-in-law, as my counselor.
-Being able to spend a lot of time with my adorable little niece, Eliana, and spending time with Sarah.
-Going to some very nice Wichita movie theathers.
-Visiting a local YMCA waterpark.
-Working with Adam on caretaking his lawn.
-Seeing the big expanse of the Kansas prairies.
-Attending a Wichita Wingnuts game, in their phenomenal American Association stadium.
-Visiting the Sedgewick County Zoo, home to many species of wild animals from all over the planet.
